Andrew DaCosta

Principal, Vice President Director of Design

Originally from Kingston, Jamaica, Andrew moved to United States in 2001 to study Electrical Engineering. Looking to utilize his creative side, Architecture provided an opportunity to combine creativity with his methodical and analytical approach to problem solving.

Prior to joining Portman, Andrew worked as an architect in Cooper Carry’s Office Workplace Studio, working on many signature projects in Atlanta that focused on creating visually distinctive buildings. He has been responsible for creating and developing concepts and working through final documentation. His background in software design enhances his ability to think big picture while solving the complex problems of implementation.

Andrew received his Bachelor of Architecture from Kennesaw State University. He is a registered architect and is a member of the American Institute of Architects and the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards.
