Irene Sourbeer
As a Vice President and Senior Project Manager of Portman Architects, Irene oversees a diverse range of projects. She is passionate about space, space-making, and having a positive impact on the built environment and end-user experience. As a Project Manager with over 13 years of experience, Irene plays a central role, leading responsibility for the day-to-day administration of projects, including establishing goals and schedules as well as monitoring the design progress from entitlement through delivery and post-occupancy.
Irene‘s focus on a fully integrated team delivery and client engagement have been vital in delivering significant projects throughout the nation. Irene’s most notable work includes Marriott Hall at San Diego Marriott Marquis & Marina, Pavilion at Ritz Carlton Oconee, Hyatt Regency Salt Lake City, and 712 West Peachtree. Irene holds a Bachelor of Architecture and a master’s degree in Architecture from Georgia Institute of Technology. She is a LEED AP and a member of AIA and NCARB.
