The Truist Plaza Garden Office, is the second phase of the office complex which in its first phase it included a main tower, Truist Plaza, a parking deck and a food court.

For this lower building of just five floors built above the structure of the 2,800 space parking garage, the main idea was to provide the tenants with a winter garden that could be used all seasons and at every time of the day. Well ahead of its time, this giant space with a skylight running almost for the whole length of the building and walkways, balconies and and bridges at every level has been used as a collaboration hub for the various tenants in the building.

Plants, trees, chairs, tables, benches, paintings, sculptures and two large fountains offer various types of experiences to the people gathering, working, having , lunch, making phone calls, walking or simply enjoy people watching.

A new way of interpreting the office experience completed in 2000, well ahead of the Millennial trends requiring more collaborative space in the working environment.
