Yinchuan Greenland Center
By Frazer
This winning competition project is located in Yinchuan China. Conceptually the project derives from the literal translation of the city name – Yinchuan translates to “Silver River”, hence the inspired podium building form and the site geometry. This silver river offsets the towers optimizing views from each. Exterior sunshades on the south and west tower surfaces provide increased occupant comfort while enhancing the building performance through reduced solar gains.
